# Credits and billing

Prontuno uses a team credit balance for transactional email. Billing settings, purchases, reminders, and invoices are managed per team.

## Choose the correct team

Credits belong to the active team, not to an individual credential. Switch to the intended team before purchasing credits or changing billing settings.

## Purchase credits

1. Open **Billing** in the Prontuno dashboard.
2. Select **Buy Credits**.
3. Choose an available credit package.
4. Review the credit amount, price, currency, and expiry shown for the package.
5. Complete the secure Stripe checkout.
6. Return to Billing and confirm that the balance and purchase history updated.

Only the team Owner or an Admin with billing access can manage purchases.

## Credit expiry

Credit packages can have an expiry period. Review the package details before purchase and monitor the current expiry date under **Usage** when one applies. Plan purchases around realistic transactional volume rather than estimated marketing traffic.

## Configure low-credit reminders

Set reminder thresholds on the Billing page so the team is warned before credits run out. Choose thresholds that leave enough time for an authorized person to purchase more credits.

Use a monitored billing email rather than one person’s temporary address.

## Billing email, address, and tax ID

- Update the billing email from the Prontuno Billing page.
- After the team’s first purchase, use the Stripe billing portal to manage invoice address and supported business tax IDs.
- Use the purchase history to locate previous transactions and available invoice links.

## Review usage and limits

Open **Usage** to view the active team’s:

- Domain limit and current domain count.
- API key limit and current key count.
- SMTP credential limit and current credential count.
- Available credit balance.
- Current credit expiry date, when applicable.

## Billing problems

If a payment fails, a balance does not update, or you see a duplicate charge, contact [support@prontuno.com](mailto:support@prontuno.com). Include the team name, purchase date, amount, currency, and Stripe receipt or invoice reference.

Do not email full payment card details, account passwords, or API credentials.
